Rusty and I are going on Vacation to the East coast in couple of weeks. We are sooooo excited we are going to fly into Philadelphia and then drive up the coast to New York, Boston, upstate New york and DC. I cannot wait! does anyone have suggestions where to stay for cheap? and suggestions what to see? ( Besides the Obvious)

I don't have any suggestions on places to stay b/c we never had to pay when we went since we stayed with family and such. But that's funny you guys are going on the same trip we went on last year. Have fun!!
I would look into hostels... you can always get a cheap bedroom, might have to share a bathroom... but hey, when you're spending $20 bucks a night, might be worth it... then splurg on a B&B in a cute little town... google would be the place to find hostels.
